Issues and Committees

The Partnership maintains several issue-focused committees that examine matters of regional import in depth, host speakers and informational presentations, and serve as vehicles for coordination and discussion. 

All committees aim to meet four times per year, on a quarterly basis when feasible.

Requirements for Committee Participation

For representatives of for-profit businesses:

  • Investors in the 495/MetroWest Partnership at the “Advocates” level and above have no restrictions on participation; any staff may take part in as many committee meetings and events as you would like. 
  • Investor companies supporting the Partnership below the Advocates level are permitted up to two staff members on one committee.
  • Not an Investor yet? Consider becoming one! For-profit businesses are welcome at up to two committee meetings or events without becoming an Investor; at the third meeting or event, a $50 per-person fee will apply.
  • Businesses with less than $2.5 million in annual revenues may have the Investor/ fee requirement waived. Contact the Executive Director to learn more.

Representatives of governmental entities, and not-for-profit organizations with less than $5 million in annual revenues may participate without restrictions. Larger non-profits are subject to the same requirements as private businesses.
